Juana in a Million,
Theater play
Dramaturgy: : Vicky Araico Casas and Nir Paldi
Dirección: Nir Paldi
Synopsis: Juana in a Million explores the real stories of migrants in the United Kingdom. The play tells the story of Juana Gómez Castillo, a young Mexican woman who travels to London. When she finds herself in a foreign land, she unexpectedly reflects upon her identity as a Mexican woman. Circumstances will force her to reassess the violent past and tragic present of her country.
Intensely physical, Juana in a Million is a dark and heartbreaking comedy, that tells the story of survival, betrayal and hope of many migrants. The theater play has received many international awards.
